The WiSE is headed by Professor Young-Ju Kim and we study various wireless communication techniques related to the next generation mobile communication system and ubiquitous computing. We currently pay out attention to the lab-based implementations of our study, especially physical layer and MAC layer of LTE-A(Long Term Evolution-Advanced) and relay based LTE-A system.
In November of 2005, we developed the diagnostic monitoring (DM) program for the 3rd generation mobile stations. In October 2009, we started to design physical layer link level simulator of LTE release 9, which is feafured by dual-layer beamforming.
